For the solo exhibition, Gognadze created a site-specific work which transforms the space of fffriedrich. Several red velvet curtains, hang from the high ceiling, changing the original infrastructure of the space, dividing it into three areas: Stage, backstage and auditorium. The exhibition is accompanied with 3 small drawings and one photograph. Drawings serve as characters of a play. Unlike at a real theatre, the audience enters into the room from the “backstage”. The narrow curtain line guides them to the auditorium until the audience finally ends up standing on the wooden platform surrounded by the curtains and mirroring the drawing, the Dream, becoming a performer on the stage.
